What I spend Money On!

Growing up I've learned to listen to others, pay attention to the world and problems around me, along with how to help others... The past two years I've wanted to give back to my community in a way I was capable of doing at my age... I started making string bracelets, also known as friendship bracelets, and selling them to people at my church and the public; along with having bake sales every other weekend. The money I raised I decided to put towards my Church's food pantry, which helps to feed the people in Worcester; and I also chose other organizations that needed help. Last year I bought animals through the Heifer Project for families in poverty, and this year I bought toys for kids at an organization that helps to guide them towards better futures... Little things like this is what I'd spend my money on everyday of my life if I could! I think it's something everyone should keep in mind and think about. It's amazing how how many people really need help out there in the world and it's important to realize that sometimes families are struggling even if they don't advertise it...

I Love My Family

Every now and then I think about important people in my life; Its amazing how many there are! I've always loved being around my family, but while time is passing, changes are occurring. Divorces force everyone apart and aging gives new responsibilities... My Mom's side of the family has experienced the most damage I think. The relationship I once had with each of my cousins has slowly disappeared, and I miss it so much. No matter how hard I try, the new relationships are never as good as the old ones... My Dad's side I LOVE being around! My Aunt and Uncle are two of the most caring people I know and they always make me smile. I miss all three of my older cousins greatly. One lives in California; Another lives in Maryland;and the second youngest just deployed for Afghanistan, leaving behind his wife and three kids.... This reminds me to touch upon the fact that family is so very important! You don't know what you have until it's gone, and I am going to miss him so much. I pray every night that he'll come home safe because his 3 year old and new born twins need their father.

Starting My Blog!

I was on facebook this morning and did my normal daily routine on it, and realized how boring it was getting for me. I'm sure that others can agree; I mean its the same thing everyday... Sign on, check notifications (which don't always have something to do with you), edit pictures, post pictures, comment pictures, and creep on the walls of other people. I don't know about you, but this pretty much covers what I do on my facebook... Blogging came to mind! I used to have a blog, which slowly came to an end. This morning I figured that I'd start back up again... Life of a Dancer is fresh!
